I am an experienced, self aware and highly intuitive reiki practitioner and teacher. I have trained with City University, Central St Martin's, The NCVO, London School of Massage, Brighton Reiki and the CMA, amongst many others I first started learning reiki in 2003, becoming a reiki master in 2006.
As part of my Diploma in Holistic Massage I studied level 3 in Anatomy and Physiology too. I believe that a good practitioner and teacher should have a foundation in both conventional and complementary systems to be able to understand how they work together when working both on, and outside of the physical body and its systems.
My previous work within the voluntary sector setting up support services, recruiting and training volunteers and delivering health promotion programmes gave an excellent grounding in delivering information to a wide range of audiences and creating bespoke training according to individual need and learning style. All these aspects combine together into my ability to teach reiki to others in a well rounded manner.
To me, reiki is a way of life and we can apply universal energy theory and the reiki principles to all areas of life each and every day. We are all energetically interconnected- communicating and interacting on multiple levels via a range of means at any one time! Learning reiki is to have your eyes opened to a whole new world of possibility. Be prepared for the ride of (the rest of) your life!
I teach all three traditional Usui Reiki degrees and have a direct lineage due to the masters who I chose to learn with. You will in turn inherit this lineage if you learn with me.
I teach both online and face to face and though I have taught to large groups in the past, currently prefer to teach people individually. This means you get an excellent level of individual coaching which is not available on larger group courses - no question is too bizarre or left unanswered with me!
I offer ‘reiki reboot’ training if you learned some reiki but are feeling you would benefit from a either a refresher of previous learning if your training was some time ago or at a faster pace than you could take in at the time.
You can also access Individual coaching practice with me. I can guide and support you if you are lacking confidence on what to do, unclear on instructions, or even missing notes or certificates.
In addition to the traditional training I also teach my own specialist reiki crystals practitioner course (I am also an Infant massage and yoga Instructor and soon to become a Gua Sha Instructor too!)
